The House Mouse and Field Mouse are the most common mice inside residential homes. They are usually around three inches long and weigh less than an ounce, quite a bit smaller than rats. They can have up to a 12 litters a year, and up to 12 in a litter. Their reproductive potential is higher than rats but they rarely live longer than a year in the wild. Mice only need 20 cubic feet their entire life to live. Mice are very curious and inquisitive rodents.
